Each mailbox needs at least 250 MB of allocated storage. Requirements above 50 mailboxes or 100 GB need a conversation with us. This calculator shows normal renewal prices; introductory offers are separate.

Business email hosting prices: practical examples
The cost of business email for 10 users is £9.99 per company per month on Starter if each person needs one mailbox and 30 GB total storage is enough. That works out at approximately £1 per mailbox. Additional shared inboxes and storage needs can change the suitable plan.

Per-user vs per-company pricing
With per-user billing, the hosting charge grows with the number of paid users. ViviMail business email is charged per company: you pay the selected plan's price up to its mailbox and storage limits. The effective cost per mailbox above is the company price divided by the number used; it is not a separate per-user tariff.
For example, a hypothetical £3-per-user monthly email service costs £30 for 10 paid users. Starter costs £9.99 for 10 mailboxes if its storage allowance meets your needs. The £3 rate is an illustrative calculation, not a quoted competitor price. A full comparison should also consider storage, included software, support, billing commitments and tax.

Which plan should I choose?
Count the separate inboxes your company needs, then estimate its total email storage. Starter covers up to 15 mailboxes; choose Business or Pro when you need more inboxes or more shared storage. A small team with large attachments may need a larger storage plan even if it has only a few people.
A mailbox has its own inbox and storage. An alias is an extra address that delivers into a mailbox. If one person receives both alex@ and info@ in the same inbox, an alias may avoid the need for another mailbox. Shared team inboxes are live, with read-only or read-and-reply permissions and named read and reply activity. See the roadmap.
Storage is shared, not multiplied by mailbox count. Starter's 30 GB is the total company allowance. Give each mailbox what it needs, from 250 MB up to the available allowance. Contact us if you need more than 100 GB.
Trials, renewals and cancellation
Starter is free for 14 days, then £9.99 per month. Business costs £1 for the first 30 days, then £14.99 per month; Pro costs £1 for the first 30 days, then £19.99 per month. The normal monthly charge starts automatically after the introductory period unless you cancel.
You can manage plan changes and cancellation from Billing in your dashboard. Cancel before your introductory period ends to avoid the normal monthly charge. After a paid cancellation, service continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Full conditions are in the terms of service.
Do email apps cost extra?
The ViviMail App for Android is free and ad-free. Access through compatible IMAP and SMTP clients is included in your hosting plan. Any licence required for a third-party app is separate.
